OUR HISTORY
Founded in 1980 in Finistère by Jean-Paul Salaun, ERM (Etudes et Réalisations Mécaniques) was initially a company that designed and manufactured boilermaking equipment.
Gradually, the company developed and marketed specialized water treatment equipment. In 1995, ERM launched the first version of what would become its flagship product: the leaf screener. Simple and innovative, this patented screen revolutionized screening in aquaculture and made the daily lives of many fish farmers easier.
In 2000, ERM became ERM ENVIRONNEMENT. The company diversified and innovated, offering a complete range of drum filters and screens tailored to each customer's needs. Years of research and development then enabled ERM ENVIRONNEMENT to design a sludge concentrator, allowing professionals to strengthen their integration into the environment and to recycle their effluent.
In 2023, David VANDEVOORDE succeeded Jean-Paul SALAUN. With 20 years of experience in aquaculture, he has developed the company with strong expertise in aquaculture engineering (oxygenation, hydraulics, zootechnics, etc).
The philosophy of ERM ENVIRONNEMENT remains unchanged: to design and market robust and innovative products for sustainable aquaculture.
